is Ale Camargo
I'm a Senior Interactive Art Director living in New York.
I am a hardworking Senior AD with more than 18 years of experience. I am a team player, reliable, and organized. I do what it takes to get the job done without compromising the end result.
I started my career in traditional advertising, designing corporate brands, ad campaigns, coordinating photography, illustrations, and a little bit of animation here and there.
Then I was lucky enough to start working in digital channels. I created websites from scratch, display banners, animation, and collaborated with developers and clients directly. Thanks to that experience, when I move to the US, I was hired by the Hawkeye Digital team, where I really started to understand and learn about UI and UX work.
I have had the opportunity to learn and grow my digital skill set so much, with clients like Trugreen, USFS, Google, Disney, American Airlines, and others. I have gained great insights into the intricate process of creating strong design language systems and overall web design processes.
In recent years, my main client has been Google, and their different organizations, such as Assistant, Cloud, EIE, Travel, and Workspace.
On nights and weekends, I try to be an artist, painting murals, creating sculptures, and taking care of my plants. This fills me with joy and gives me balance.
